Winter Party at La Villette
For the first time, La Villette is hosting a Christmas village in the Place de la Fontaine-aux-Lions. The village will be the beating heart of a Winter Party! Throughout the month of December, the party will be punctuated by a variety of events for all ages.
As an added bonus, a nod will be paid to the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as winter sports will be given pride of place, with the installation of a 200m² ice rink, climbing wall, ski simulator and curling rink!
Lumière en Seine
From now until January 12, the Lumières en Seine fairytale trail returns to the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud for a fourth edition, with new light displays. To complete this unforgettable sensory universe, gourmets of all ages can also enjoy the friendly, comforting atmosphere of the food court!
Candlelight Christmas
Escape for an evening with Candlelight concerts. This program invites you to enjoy the most beautiful Christmas music throughout the month of December.
The Nutcracker, the show
Are you a fan of urban dance? Tchaikovsky's famous ballet The Nutcracker comes to the Théâtre Libre stage in a whole new guise! Under the direction of Spanish choreographer Blanca Li. The classical dance show is transformed into an urban dance show, with hip-hop choreography linked to the original story.
Festival du Merveilleux
The Festival du Merveilleux is an opportunity to (re)discover the Pavillons de Bercy with a series of shows and enchantments for the festive season! Join us from December 27 to January 5 to enjoy a wonderful program! All the museum's halls are open to the public, and a wide range of performing arts disciplines will be on show during this magical period. Storytellers, aerial dancers, tightrope walkers, acrobats, musicians, puppeteers... will create stories to dream about. The show is also one of images, sound and the latest digital technologies. 3D enchantment, mechanical music, a ballet of automatons and optical illusions follow one another throughout the day.
The Snow Queen - Ukrainian National Opera Ballet
At the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées until early January, the company will be performing La Reine des neiges, adapted from Andersen's eponymous fairy tale to music by Grieg, Massenet, Offenbach, Johann Strauss and Berlioz. The choreographic version is by Aniko Rekhviashvili.
You can also enjoy sumptuous performances at the Opéra de Bastille, ideally located close to your hotel!
